COVID-19 has led to the delay and cancellation of so many graduate shows and shows by brilliant young artists. The aim of this page, much like the aim of Ameena Hamid Productions Ltd as a whole is to shine a spotlight on those who unfairly don’t get one. Please take the time to look at all of the students, click their pictures to be taken to showreels and spotlight pages and email me to get their email addresses where needed.
They have worked so hard, give them the spotlight they deserve.

On the counter though, I am often cast as the sensitive, damaged role, as I am able to find extreme emotions quite easily and keep the rooted in 'truth'. Outside of acting, I am very sporty. I run a lot and have a deep love for Football, cliche I know

Hi! My name is Katie and I’m a third year actor at the Drama Centre. I am originally from Minsted, West Sussex, and now my family live in West Chinnock, Somerset. I have grown up surrounded by animals; I ride horses; love dogs, cats... any animal! Training at Drama Centre has been both incredible and challenging! This year I have been part of the Carleton Hobbs team and nominated to represent Drama Centre in this year’s Spotlight Prize

I am an Actor/ Writer/ Singer and Musical theatre performer currently graduating from Manchester School of Theatre this year. I am based primarily in Manchester but have bases in both Newcastle and London.
I am a Geordie from the small town, Birtley, in Gateshead and I have worked tirelessly throughout my life in the arts to be the best I can be. Through amateur productions from a young age in musicals, plays and concerts, my talent was displayed and I was lucky enough to train at a prestigious drama school. At this establishment, I have performed on the National Theatre Tokyo stage professionally and the Northern stage in Newcastle. Finally on the verge of graduating drama school, with this experience behind me, this uncertain period of time has caused me to be confused for what is next in my career and for our industry, I want to strive to keep my life moving forward in a progressive direction.
I am a quick-witted, forward-thinking, trilingual actress currently in my final year of training at the London College of Music.
The ability of fluently speaking English, Italian and French is due to my upbringing in Monte-Carlo. My diverse and international childhood is the reason for which I can effortlessly communicate, and easily relate to other cultures and people. I have a profound desire to represent multicultural, strong and empowered women with an important story to tell.
I'm Megan, a young Northern actor with a vast skill set. I'm passionate about classical texts, being a Shakespeare nerd in my spare time, however I also love new projects that challange the form. I am also a writer, specialising in spoken word most of the time. I hope to expand my writing further and create my own work as an actor, starting with stage and moving onto screen. I don’t limit myself or my abilities, I love what I do and I carry this energy through with me in every audition and workshop representing myself as a passionate creative.
Melanie is an Actor-Singer, currently studying in her final year at East 15 Acting School and will be graduating this summer. Professionally, she started out backstage and used to work at The English Theatre Frankfurt, as both Stage Hand and Assistant Stage Manager, before the urge to be on stage rather than backstage prevailed and she took the leap to move to the UK and train to be a performer. Melanie is interested in a variety of things within the arts and wishes to improve and extend her existing performance skills as much as she can. Despite the uncertainty the current global crisis entails, Melanie is excited to graduate and get herself out in the industry as soon as possible.
